Floods in poland not affecting Fibox tested systems operations
We do not expect any harm or damage to our operation and deliveries from Fibox Warzaw factory.
Currently, a difficult flood situation exists in southern Poland. After heavy rainfall over the past few days, the situation is slowly normalizing, although high water levels are present in many rivers in the flood area. In a few days, the flood waves of the main major Polish rivers (Vistula, Oder) will start moving northwards towards the Baltic Sea. Below is some official information on the Vistula and Warsaw..
A spokesman for the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, Grzegorz Walijewski, officially told that it will take five to seven days for water to reach Warsaw from the Silesian province.
" We can expect the water level to rise in the next few days, with a climax of the surge in a week's time. Although we anticipate that the water level will be high, it should not exceed the warning limits."
According to City Hall spokeswoman Monika Beuth, all places that have recently been exposed to flooding are under constant observation, and the city is cooperating in this regard with institutions that do not directly report to it, such as the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways and the Polish Waterways. Warsaw is therefore ready to face any challenges that the developing hydrological situation may bring.
Forecasts indicate an improvement in weather conditions, as an atmospheric high is approaching, which will bring a stabilization of the weather, so risk is low.
