Meet the Fibox Korea Customer Service Team: Excellence through teamwork and expertise

Established in 1995, Fibox Korea’s Customer Service (CS) team has been a cornerstone of our operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth across diverse markets. The team oversees the ordering process, shipment coordination, and customer communication for 34 domestic distributors, 74 OEM customers, and the Fibox Group (including Fibox Oy Ab, Fibox GmbH, Fibox France, Fibox Inc, Fibox India, and Fibox China). Additionally, they support official distributors in seven Southeast Asian countries, such as China and Japan, and cater to direct customers in regions like Indonesia and the Philippines.

Under the leadership of Suho Kim, the team of five – Jiwon Hwang, Hyerin Park, Kyungae Jang, and Sinhee Kim – works cohesively despite their varied levels of experience. Each team member brings a unique combination of work experience and education, which they see as a strength. By sharing information and learning from one another, they foster a culture of collaboration that enables them to meet the diverse needs of domestic and international clients.

Delivering products and building relationships

The CS department manages the entire process to ensure goods are safely delivered to customers while acting as a communication bridge between clients and the production team. Their responsibilities extend beyond logistics, as they also create marketing materials, such as catalogs, and promotional items, including diaries, calendars, pens, plastic bags, and piggy banks featuring Fibox's logo, to strengthen the company's brand presence in the Asian market. They also produce multilingual materials in Japanese, English, and Chinese, supporting clients in understanding Fibox products better. The team strives to exceed customer expectations, resolve issues promptly, and adapt to the dynamic needs of a global clientele.

Meet the Team

Suho Kim – Customer Service & Marketing Department Manager

  • Joined Fibox Korea in 2016.
  • Over 20 years of experience in customer management and sales across various industries, including wireless communication, CCTV, outdoor, and plastic manufacturing.
  • Responsible for overseeing HR, managing the CS team, and marketing for customers across Asia.

My goal is to support the team in achieving our shared vision: to make every interaction with Fibox valuable and meaningful for our customers, says Suho Kim.

Kyungae Jang – Export Specialist

  • Joined Fibox Korea in 2020.
  • Holds a degree in International Trade, motivated by the growing potential for business between Korea and China.
  • Over 15 years of experience in international trade. Kyungae’s previous roles included export management for communication cables to Taiwan, vehicles to Central Asia, and cosmetics to China.
  • Currently oversees CS operations for China, Thailand, Japan, India, and Vietnam.
  • Passionate about the dynamic challenges of international trade, Kyungae finds working with global customers both motivating and rewarding.

Sinhee Kim – Export Specialist

  • Joined Fibox Korea in 2006.
  • Holds a degree in International Trade and is passionate about the logistics of the import/export process.
  • With years of experience managing the export of goods, Sinhee ensures that products arrive safely and efficiently to customers, maintaining the high standard of Fibox products.
  • Transitioned from the domestic CS team to the overseas CS team in 2012.
  • Handles CS for Fibox Group companies and markets in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Indonesia.
  • Finds fulfillment in ensuring that products arrive safely to customers, reflecting the collective efforts of the Fibox team.

I strive to ensure every product arrives flawlessly, honoring the hard work of all Fibox employees, and will continue to approach our tasks with care and positivity, shares Sinhee Kim.

Jiwon Hwang – Domestic CS Specialist

  • Joined Fibox Korea in 2018.
  • Brings nine years of experience in e-commerce customer management and sales support.
  • Currently in charge of domestic customer management and scalar computer processing, handling customer response, order reception, and scalar computer processing for 34 agencies and 74 OEM customers.
  • Jiwon’s previous experience in e-commerce has helped her develop a customer-first approach and skills in problem-solving.
Working at Fibox has transformed me from an introvert into an active team player, helping me grow through collaboration and experience, describes Jiwon Hwang.
 

Hyerin Park – Domestic CS Specialist

  • Her first job was in education, where she worked for about two years. During this time, she learned how to handle customer complaints and provide effective customer service. Since her main customers were children and mothers, she spent a significant portion of her time in service training to adapt to using a gentle tone and showing kindness in her interactions.
  • Applies her skills in customer care to Fibox’s customer service, aiming to eliminate complaints by providing quick, empathetic responses.

By putting myself in the customer’s shoes and responding kindly, I can turn complaints into positive experiences, helping Fibox grow along the way, tells Hyerin Park.
