 Kyusuph Han, Fibox Asia Head of Sales, has a remarkable career covering 24 years in sales, business development, and marketing across the Asia-Pacific region. Starting his career as a sales engineer at Siemens, Kyusuph has steadily built a reputation for driving growth and leading multinational projects. His path to leadership has been defined by continuous learning, strategic vision, and a determined commitment to success.

I’ve always driven myself to improve and change, Kyusuph says. His early experiences in engineering, coupled with his MBA degree and leadership roles, have given him a unique perspective on how to combine technical expertise with business acumen. From his beginnings in South Korea to leading regional teams in China, Japan, and Southeast Asia, Kyusuph has taken on diverse roles, mastering the challenges of managing sales growth, market development, and channel management.

Key leadership insights and vision at Fibox

Since joining Fibox in Autumn 2024, Kyusuph has been focused on expanding the company’s market share across South and East Asia. His vision for Fibox includes growing the sales organization, building local sales teams, and strengthening OEM and distribution businesses in China, Japan, and ASEAN countries.

Kyusuph’s leadership philosophy is based on three core principles:

1) Aim high (grow & improve)

2) Own it (teamwork & localization)

3) Be true (transparency & work ethic).

My goal is sustainable, profitable growth, Kyusuph shares. I believe in transparency and teamwork, and I’m eager to replicate the success we’ve had in Korea to other markets in the region. He is particularly passionate about fostering a strong, winning culture within the team, promoting employee engagement, and empowering team members to take ownership of their roles.

These values guide his strategic plans for each market, emphasizing the importance of localizing strategies while maintaining alignment with Fibox’s global objectives. I’ve succeeded in developing and implementing local strategies to win, based on the company's group strategy. Now, I’m excited to apply my experience and make it happen here at Fibox.

Kyusuph’s career has been marked by success in leading multinational projects, developing new business and restructuring teams for efficiency and effectiveness. His previous roles in industrial automation with companies like Siemens and Red Lion have equipped him with a deep understanding of process automation, digitalization, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

I’m always learning, Kyusuph says, reflecting on his journey.

Outside of work, he’s a certified barista and CrossFit trainer, proving that his drive for improvement extends to all areas of life. As a father of two boys and a husband to a writer, Kyusuph maintains a healthy work-life balance – family is a key driver in every aspect of his life.
